Five Chapters two.

Happy Birthday. If I could post videos from places other than Google Video and YouTube, I’d show you the following; instead, I’ll link you there.

Last night Jay McInerney, Arthur Phillips, and Kate Christensen read short pieces at Union Hall in Brooklyn–celebrating the two-year anniversary of Five Chapters.

In this exclusive video of the festivities, GalleyCat finds out about Christensen’s web work, Phillips’ first story, and finally, McInerney’s stolen manuscript.

Five Chapters breaks fiction into work-week-sized pieces, spreading short stories over five suspenseful days, text that fits nicely on a cell phone or computer screen. In the video, all three writers talk about this new short story form.
