  • Only 19% of McCain supporters rated moderator Gwen Ifill as excellent, whereas 51% of Obama supporters rated her performance as excellent.
  • More than 70% of McCain and Obama supporters felt that Ifill did not spend enough time challenging the candidates on misstatements of fact.
  • 49% of those who said they plan to vote for Obama watched the debate on either MSNBC (26%) or PBS (23%).
  • In contrast, more than 53% of the people who said they plan to vote for McCain watched the debate on Fox News Channel.

Tonight’s debate promises to be nothing, because promises are made to be broken, and no one breaks like Brokaw.  Can you tell I’m drinking coffee again?  Sweet, delicious coffee.

  2. the GOP wouldn’t dare schedule any more unscripted air time for Palin, this would give people more time to realize that she’s totally clueless… the prospect of her becoming the Commander in Chief is frightening
