TypePad is roughing up the feeds.

My apologies for recent ugliness of posts – apparently, TypePad is having some trouble with the feeds.  For those inclined to be interested in the details, I’ll include them after the jump.  For those just wanting magic, here’s the better feed to use for this site.

Thanks
for all the examples, everyone. I checked out several of them and this
appears to be an issue in the feeds themselves, rather thanin Google
Reader. The content tags in the feed specify  type="html" but then they
escape all the HTML tags in the text, e.g. <p> for
a<p> tag, which is what you do if you want the tags to appear as
code rather than having a formatting effect. Someone might want to
notifyTypepad of this recent change, if it seems to be affecting a lot
of blogs.

Luckily there’s a workaround, though. On the blogs
I checked, only the Atom feeds had this problem. The RSS feeds were
okay. So if you unsubscribe from the problem feeds and then
resubscribe,  making sure to get the RSS version this time, you should
see the normal view ofthe content. For example, compare:

http://angrychicken.typepad.com/angry_chicken/atom.xml (Atom format,
displayed incorrectly)
with
http://angrychicken.typepad.com/angry_chicken/rss.xml (RSS format,
displayed correctly)

Thanks,
Graham
